Sunday Services

When we meet

We meet every Sunday at 10am for our Sunday Service. Our service normally last around an hour and a half, after which there are refreshments and we stay around and chat for a while. We expect a mix of Christians and people who wouldn't call themselves Christians but are open-minded, so you are very welcome if you belong to either group!

Where we meet

We meet at Sutton Grammar School (Greyhound Road entrance), near the centre of Sutton. There is free parking in the school car park. By public transport you can take several different buses or we're an eight minute walk from Sutton mainline train station.

You can find out more about where we meet and how to get there by clicking here.

What we do

In our church services we'll sing, have prayers, have a Bible reading and a talk explaining that Bible reading. We believe that the Bible is God's Word for people today, so we always try to explain what it says in ways we can all understand and relate to. We also try to have questions afterwards if we have time.

There are also activities for the children. We want the children to feel part of chuch so we all start the service together. After a few songs, the children leave to their various groups for the rest of the service, where they learn about Jesus in age-specific ways and with various crafts and games.
You can find out more about the children's work by clicking here.

Who can come

We don't have any dress code, please come in whatever clothes you normally wear.
We don't expect you to come from any particular demonination, everyone who serves Jesus is welcome.
We don't expect you to believe anything, everyone who is open-minded about Jesus is welcome.
We don't mind about your background, how much you know about the Bible, how old or young you are, whatever you've done in your past, everyone is welcome to hear about Jesus and to know him here at our church.
